Hi ! I watched the show for the first time and really enjoyed it. As a french woman living in Paris, I was curious as to how american were reacting to the show so i decided to check out the website.
Lucky for you I was able to find the restaurant "Chez Denise" that you were looking for. It was a bit hard to find because it's known under another name "Tour de Montlhéry". So here is the adress and links to a map and photo :

Chez Denise / La Tour de Montlhéry
5 rue des Prouvaires
75001 PARIS

I hope my links work if not let me know.

James, when you are in Paris again try "I Pupi" 21, Rue Malar 75007 Paris. The best Italian food I have had. That will be my first stop next time I am in Paris ~ Ranee

Please get lost in Paris. You won't be dissapointed.. and please, please do not eat with in a 2 block radius of any monument or attraction unless you want to pay 18Euros for a beer.

Get lost, get wasted, eat a lot of food you've never tried before. You may be surprised to find that with the vast amounts of food entering your pie-hole all the walking evens it out.. I think I maintained the same weight while in Paris despite the glutony.

Bread will NEVER be the same! It's a fair warning; I'd like to see someone disagree.

Oh, and of course visit the catacombs. Though it's a touristy little attraction, the sense of calm and serenity down there is shocking and beautiful.. the damp skulls and moist air, to the goo dripping from the ceiling to the clostrophobic stairway leading deep below Parisian streets remind you there is beauty in more than painting and architecture; it can come from a 17th century murderous and tyrranical time.. it's an 8Euros well spent and experience to stay with you for a long time, like the zen that is REAL bread.
