You see when you are a kid...The world is fascinating. We lived in Castedefells for a year. (Spain under Franco) My grandmother , my brothers and sisters and my my Mom. It was adventure time. I will tell you the reasons later.I assume all want food stories here. I guess if no one comments after 2 posts I will stop as the worse thing in life is boring people. In Spain,, the tastes surprised. Grew up in southern maryland. Gaudi.. a famous Spanish architect had places in Barcelona. I suppose under Franco underappreciated. My Mother found a spanish pensione designed by Gaudi. It was run down but the walls of the room undulated. They gave us dinner but the most delicious think was swiss chard with raisens, garlic and pine nuts in olive oil.. You see it now but that taste was sublime. It was the taste of Spain
