In Spain,, the tastes surprised. Grew up in southern maryland.
Gaudi.. a famous Spanish architect had places in Barcelona. I suppose under Franco underappreciated.
My Mother found a spanish pensione designed by Gaudi. It was run down but the walls of the room undulated.
They gave us dinner but the most delicious think was swiss chard with raisens, garlic and pine nuts in olive oil..
You see it now but that taste was sublime.
It was the taste of Spain
