Just want to thank Tony for giving my wife and I the rallying cry of.. "Noooo Reservations"! I was invited to an wedding in Ahmedabad, which is a truly vegetarian and alcohol-dry city in Gujurat, India. The trip was spent dogfighting paper kites on a tin rooftop, eating at road-side stands (try "pan" from a pan-wallah) and just trying everything. From a guy that's pretty much been a burger and pizza-eater his whole life, the show has really given me the inspiration to try different cultures and foods. On the trip, we traveled through Rajasthan and went to the Natraj Hotel where Tony went in the India episode. We found out that one of the young owners is now the mayor! Thanks Tony and the Travel Channel - every show makes me want to go there and have my own "nooooo reservations" moments.
