For me, it does not get any better than the buffet at the Paris. It is like eating at a gourmet restaurant. Ask to be seated inside one of the rooms. It is worth an extra wait.

Hmm, I don't think I ever heard of this place before. Well, my first trip to Vegas will have to include a trip at the Paris! thanks Ben Smile

Was in Las Vegas last Dec. The restraunt at Rio Suites was good and great view on top floor at Voodo Lounge. Went to Ifle Tower at Paris for dinner. Great view of Bellagio Fountains but way overpriced food and drinks. Lobster was $54, appetizers were $18 and a beer was $10. Tried to make reservations in person at Bouchon but was turned off by snooty hostess and atmosphere so didn't go. Plan on checking out the Mesa Grill at Ceaser's Palace owned by Bobby Flay on next trip. Ate at a Wolfgang Puck at the MGM Grand and food was mediocre. The steakhouse at Luxor was unexpectedly quite good.

Aw, I wish I had known that when I went earlier this month. Grrr. I'll have to remember this for my next vegas trip, whenever that will be. I also wanted to go to Emeril Lagasse's Louisiana Seafood restraunt (I forget the exact name) but we didn't get a chance to. I heard good things about it. If you do go for dinner make reservations like three weeks in advance.

haha--I think someone asks this every month Smile

Bellagio buffet is my favorite, Mandalay Bay's was pretty good also, and I cked out the menu for Paris' buffet and it looked good, but I didnt try it. And yeah, I hheard you need to book Emeril's way in advance. I ate at his NO restaurant and it was incredible. Mesa Grill is also one Ive been wanting to try. and W. Puck's was great last summer, but not this summer Smile

Must go to TAO at the Venetian.
The food is great and the club is a must experience.

I like the Ceasar's buffet for brunch poolside.

I loved Tsunami at the Venetian. Fantastic Sushi.

Oh and Quarks at the Hilton, if you're feeling Treckie.

Okay if you're in vegas and have disposable cash here is my advice. Run to the MGM and eat at the Mansion. It is Joel Roebuchon's one and only restaurant in the states. Chef of the Century.

I am going in January 2007, and I would suggest trying the Wynn and Bellagio buffets. Also, Fried Twinkie and fried oreo. Ask around for the exact location on Freemont Street. My Uncle travels to Vegas all the time, and he says to try HUGO'S CELLAR in the Four Queens hotel and casino on Freemont Street. Get the lobster "something", it's their specialty. Look at Hugo's website to find the actual name. Not sure of price, but at least it should be good. Anyway, win big and price doesn't matter.

I can toot the horn for Mesa Grill. That's some good food. Try the shrimp tamale if they have it on the menu. The warm chocolate cake is simply divine for dessert.

Delmonico at the Venetian, another Emeril place, will get you a steak that melts in your mouth. Both of these places get very pricey, but the service is simply outstanding. We've eaten at Mesa for lunch and it's not only less crowded but the price is more reasonable.

I'd also like to mention Wolfgang Puck's Chinois, located in the shops at Caesar's. The food's quite good- probably the best won ton soup I've ever had. Dragon Noodle Company in the Monte Carlo is also nice.

Stay away from the buffet at Excalibur. It's not horrible, but of the buffets where I've eaten in Vegas, I enjoyed that one the least.

Finally, if you get in the mood for cheaper, all-American eats, you MUST go to Fatburger, located in a strip center just north of the MGM Grand and across from the Monte Carlo. You'll be greeted with a cheerful, "Welcome to FATburger!" Get a Fatburger with all the veggies, plus cheese and a fried egg. Yes, really. A fried egg. It's a real treat.

Oh, and if you're a drinker, head to the Fontana Bar on the floor of the casino in the Bellagio and order a mojito. They make the best mojito on the strip. Plus, if you drop a $20 bill in the video poker machine there and just sit and play, you'll drink for free, so feel free to order several mojitos! LOL!
