My husband and I are going to Paris in a week ---it is a big celebration our 25th anniv. and a birthday for me. Does anyone have some suggestions where to eat. And about the best way to make reservations?? Thanks

I'd say avoid touristy areas and avoid those restaurants that are "in" or "hip". My best meals in Paris were at random neighborhood joints and for lunch, grab a crepe off one of the crepe carts that dot the city. They offer both savory and sweet versions. The Banana and Nutella crepes are particularly amazing.

And for breakfast, a simple "cafe' et croissant" will do you nicely.
