I went to a mexican restaurant called The Alamo in the Temple Bar section of Dublin. On the menu they had tea listed. So the person I was with ordered it thinking ice tea, since this was a Tex-Mex restaurant. Wrong, we are in Ireland and when they say tea they mean tea. So when they brought out a cup and a tea bag with some hot water, we politely explained we thought they were talking about ice tea. We all had a good laugh and we were then invited back into the kitchen to show them how to make ice tea. They went out of their way to make it for us and at no charge.
