Les Halles, WOW !!!! what a disapointment!!

Last Sunday we decided to try Les Halles in Miami even though it not highly rated in Zagats, we ventured out for a taste. The food was pretty good, the fries were great. half way through our tart tatin I noticed a small roach crawling on the backside of the bench close to my wife's shoulder ... She freaked out and told our waiter, we got 4 sorry's out of the incident. Anthony!! you forgot to write about this in your book.

Yes, because there are no roaches in any other restaurant in NY. And that makes for a horrible meal.

You said the food was good, the staff apologized. What else did you want? Tony to come out, do a magic show, and make everything ok?

I've been to Bond St in NY, which is hell of a lot higher rated than Les Halles in Zagats, and there, crawling on the wall next to my date was a huge roach. Sure it was nasty, but my date and I got over it and enjoyed the awesome meal. Anyone who's never seen a roach or mouse/rat in a kitchen is a liar.

Hello??? You're in a restaurant! Of course there's gonna be a roach or 2. At least in didn't crawl out of your salad.

Yes, I did have this experience & my then 4 year-old son was elated to watch it scuttle around in my salad. I'll never forget that meal!

Trust me being from the south for the last 15 years if all you saw was 1 deal with it geesh their everywhere in the south due to the humidity and such they just love the environment. Besides it's a restaurant just be glad it's not like the Taco Bell in NYC that was crawling with rats.

1 roach? Are you kidding me? Go look up the health dept closing of Serendipity 3 in NY in November. That was the restaurant with the $25,000 desert.
