Many years before as a kid, I visited italy. I told you before. Now older or older before like 5 years ago. I reconnected. Amazing good people. You arrive in the hill town of your grandfather and it is magical. Jet lag and 2 hour car travel from Rome. The light in Italy is different. TIME SLOWS. One relaxes. You walk down a street. It was bombed in world war 2. half the bridge is gone never repaired who cares. One blockfrom the house, where my grandfather grew up is a women in the street frying peppers on a charcoal grill dressed in black. My stepfather takes a picture and wins an award at an art show later. There is the doctors house on the corner...I think maybe I can buy it .. no one has lived there for years. Buy a house one block from where my grandather lived..Fantasy. The local (my) family restored this house for acations. they are wonderful. It took them a long time. They respect old and new ways.
