Come to the conclusion that Travel Channel business types don't care about inherent quality of shows. They just throw them up and see if they stick.

Good that "No Reservations" stuck.

Yes, I've written to Moderator Ben on the issue of "disappearing" threads of constructive criticism. I'm sure he'll weigh in with some clarifying thoughts on this subject. That is, unless THIS message seems to disappear.....

Hi travelwizard and wynkatt,
I have tried to leave the feedback up. Comments that are overly insulting will get taken down. If the feedback is not really on the show but a personal attack on the host, it will get taken down. If you ever see any posts that you find offensive, you can click the triangle with the exclamation point to report it to me. Thanks for your posts and for being a part of our community.

Here is some constructive criticism - have Mr. Anthony be less rude and smug to everyone he meets and have him wear shirts with the Canadian flag on them for clarification. I am tired of the undeserved "Ugly American" comments.

I understand (being in the entertainment field myself in the US/LA) that there is the element of discovery needed to structure the show - a narrative - but his VO is just smarmy and does not inform. He is snide without being funny or even interesting. Some genuine feeling or interest - respect for his fellow humans would be nice.

Anthony Bourdain has an established persona/act, with a pronounced sarcastic streak... but he did a much much better job in Ireland, and managed to interact with those he met.
