Ok,
I decided instead of ranting about the show “Life’s a Trip” or how the host is arrogant and unreal, I would provide some positive info which could help the producers make this show a success.

In fact I really did enjoy the first episode when the trip was made over to Japan for some Kobe Beef. I too have experience Kobe Beef once before, and thought it was over-rated. I appreciated the fact that Andrew Anthony at least spoke his mind. You don’t have him saying he loves everything similar to that of Andrew Zimmerman. Andrew Zimmerman says the same thing every time to the different foods he tries throughout the world. “Ahw, that’s fantastic. Wow, that’s really great”.
Andrew Anthony spoke his mind, and he didn’t like it. I appreciate that. I would too.
The travel was excited, well documented, and I really enjoyed it.

As for the second episode, to New Zealand, it was over-drawn, became a little boring, and I personally don’t think the entire episode should have been focused on the different tribes, and their dances, or some of their personal attributes that make them different from others throughout the world.

People want to see things from their TV that at the moment they personally can’t whether its financial reasons, work reasons, or even time restraints. People want to experience the different foods, drinks, settings that they can’t experience in the US. And most importantly they want to see places that haven’t been documented on TV yet.

The show in fact can become a success with Andrew Anthony as a host, especially seeing the success he has had throughout his life. This show should become even a bigger success just with him. Some guidance is needed by the producers right now to make or break this.

I disagree. There is a saying " you can't polish a turd". This man does not connect with his audience , he does not engage the viewer. It is more than looks - he is dull to watch. His copy is also very bad, trite - I was very surprised that he made a living at copywriting. He writes like a bored college jock. Very me me me - no room for any other subject/scenery
