Few places in mainland China are more likely to make northern Californians feel at home than the city of Qingdao, located in the northeast province of Shandong. Wooded hillsides, separated by winding roads, are wreathed in moody fog. Foothills descend gently to the sea, sheltered beaches meander for miles and visitors can eat what is arguably some of the best seafood in China. Although the Central Business District (CBD) has gone modern, Qingdao has not lost its finely tuned sense of catering for travelers and backpackers alike.

infusing yourself in the beer street where you can enjoy the refreshing plasmogen beer. the way of manufacturing the beer is original from Germany recipe, i am sure foreign visitors will find the home—taste beer here definitely.

Qingdao translates to "Green Island," and while it is not entirely surrounded by the ocean, it is an island of relaxed living bathed in fresh sea breezes where the rich and famous from around the world still come to play.

This part of town faces Qingdao Bay to the south and is filled with old European history & architecture that depicts city’s international past, which is also my favorite spot.

the next time, after charging my energy, i decided to visit Mt. Laoshan..the mountain is characterized by the imposing canyon and undulating peaks and mystery mist.

Laoshan Mountain is said to be home of the "supernatural Spirits". It is the highest mountain along China's 18,000—kilometer—long coastline, as well as the only mountain whose peak is over 1000 meters along China coastline. In the old book "Qi Ji"(a record about China between BC 478— BC 221), there is a record of "Tai mountain is not higher than Laoshan Mountain along Yellow sea". The description is not for their real heights but focuses on their comparative grand impressions..

some lazybones may choose this transportation tools instead of being killed by the pain of the feet...

The springs and water are also very notable in Laoshan Mountain On a tip to the main peak, there is a spring named "Tianyi Spring". It is notable much. Other springs ,like "Shenshui Spring" of Taiqing Palace Tao Temple and "Shenshui Spring" of Shang Qing Palace Tao Temple. And Laoshan mineral water is a specialty of Laoshan Mountain. It is said the mineral water can be used to cure diseases.

And the Laoshan Beer, is lady's favour due to its light taste of alcohol~~!!

Some travel tips for visitors:
