I visited Beijing last summer. I really enjoyed the foods. Not to mention because the foods are so inexpensive but they also give you unforgettable taste on your buds. They have multicultural dishes served all over the city.Lets start with the winner of the year, Alameda, a three years running best restaurant in Beijing serves very significant and delicious dishes. The Cod fish and seabass dishes are inevitable. Try their 2 course prefixes. Its a brazilian style and nice dining experience. Houhai with their restaurants and bars along the side of the lake that frozes on the winter is the very tempting for a dinner goers who also wants great ambiance. Try the foil bakes fish dish called Han Can with its sweet sauce. Brasserie Flo, best french serves their cosmo on a ball shaped glass filled with crushed ice top with martini cut glass sitting on top of it is excellente. Riched wine selection. Hatsune for sushi fanatics will serves you a melting in the mouth rolls top with their naturale sauce and top notch sake selection. Not to mention the eatry at Oriental Plaza, the dish call malaxiangkuo, a mouth killer dish that what it means, it has a variety vegetables and meat or seafood sauteed in spicy sauce, chillies and szechuan peppers. Be sure to tell them the level of spicyness of your order. Start with mild for a begginer, enjoy it with a bowl of steamed with rice and a lot of water. Don't forget to watch out on those peppers! Dawanglu area or so called SOHO will serves you a variety dishes of noodles and curry dishes. They excellent on winter also summer. Street food, try jidanbing, an omelete serves over a package and lettuce gives a great quick breakfast to start the day with. Visit the night market by the WangFuJing area, you will find a variety odd looking foods on the stick. Try scorpions, cricket and starfish (a bit yucky but you have to try it). After you tasted them all try their deepfried ice cream as dessert. My girlfriednd also took me to a place that serves diced seasoned fried chicken serves with chillies and peppers, great to enjoy a very cold beer. At last try the beijing traditional dishes, The Peking Duck at GuanJude or Dadong. Try to come a half hour earlier to get a table in room full of duck lovers.
