I love this idea! They pair local people all over the world with travelers. The traveler arrives at the host's home for a two hour dinner get-together. The traveler experiences a home cooked meal of local cuisine and a taste of local culture. do you remember the jewish deli mr. bourdain visited with the scrambled eggs with salmon, etc? we are visiting and want to go there--help?

Yes, it's Barney Greengrass. You can also read about it in Bourdain's book, The Nasty Bits (page 76 in the chapter, 'My Manhattan').
