Brianbull1, I think it's sad that they turned Ground Zero into a theme park! If someone goes to Ground Zero, they should treat it with respect & reverence!

I just found out that if you look up in Times Square, you can find a guy on a gyroscope. It's David Blaine doing his latest stunt (spinning on a gyroscope until Friday). Urge him on for this is a charity cause and if he makes it non stop till Friday he will take 100 children selected by the Salvation Army for a Target $500 shopping spree.

Hey!!! There is a wax museum in New York's Times Square. This museum is very popular and it's name is Maddam Tussadues. OK. So mabye admission is expensive so maybe one or two fo you could go, but outside there is a "wheel of fortune". The reason I say it's a wheel of fortune is because if you spin it, you can get 3 dollars, 4 dollars, 5 dollars off of your admisson, or, if you are lucky, you can get FREE ADMISSION,yes, you heard me right, FREE ADMISSION!!!!! This is the place you want to go if you want to see some wax sculptures.

Hey guys,
I hope you all had a great and warm thanksgiving in NYC. It was fun running into most of you at that PARTY for S magazine. Jaime, I gave you my information, if you (and everyone) are interested in having a tourguide for the east side and lower manhattan, contact me. And if I don't speak to you, have an amazing rest of your trip. It was fun to hang out, even if it was brief.

Hi Bevis, Jaime, Lena, Tim, & Zach! I hope you are enjoying traveling around this big country of ours! You must come back sometime & visit Chicago, & places in Michigan. Detroit, Grand Rapids, & Mackinaw City & Mackinac Island are great places for you to go. I know you're not able to go there now, but I think you would love to visit those places. However, if you visit Mackinaw City & Mackinac Island then you may want to wait until the Summer to do that. By the way Mackinaw & Mackinac are pronounced the same way. We're weird here in Michigan. Wink Cool I hope you enjoy the rest of your time here, in America!

NYC is so much fun and there is so much to do, no matter what your budget is. Go to Ellis Island, see the Statue of Liberty, Ground Zero, Fifth Avenue, The UN, Greenwich Village, Soho, Times Square, and, of course... BROADWAY!!!! For the splurge, take a limo and see a Broadway show. My personal favorite is The Phantom of the Opera, but Wicked is supposed to be fantasitc. Oh, and for some cheap and amazing food, you have to try pizza and a hot pretzel from a street vender. Enjoy the city that never sleeps!!!

1. Museums are a must see!
2. Go to battery park and take the Ferry to The statue of liberty! While you wait there are some really friendly people who give you peanuts to feed the squirils! also if you are buying souvineers best buy them down at battery park as it is much much cheaper than times square!
3. Ground zero is breathtaking and there are some spectacular building and statues (such as the bull, george washington and the NYC stock exchange)in the business district which are very symbolic of American democracy!
4. If you want to have a great meal i suggest goin to little italy!
5. maybe even see a basketbll game at madison square garden or see the yankees down at yankee stadium!
6. Go TIM you legend you are a great representative for all of us in Melbourne and Australia!

Here's a few ideas that are off the beaten path:

1. Go to Buffalo NY to the Anchor Bar, its the birthplace of the original Buffalo wing.

2. Go to Thousands Islands NY and visit Boldt Castle. The story of Boldt and his wife is a real true life fairy tale. But its only open until mid-october so you'd have to go right away.

3. GO to Lake Champlain and look for "Champ", America's Loch Ness Monster.

4. Go to Jamestown NY and visit the "I Love Lucy Museum" Its one of the most famous and beloved american tv shows. Here's a piece of "Lucy" trivia: "I Love Lucy" airs every hour of every day somewhere in the world.

Thank you! Really cool places!
