The East Village Visitors Center is a hidden gem in the heart of the east village in NYC. I thought I should share this with the rest They have amazing tours like "Gangsters, Murderes and Weirdos", where the guide tours you through the village in small groups so that you can really grasp the atmosphere of one of the city's oldest areas. You can find them at the Bowery Poetry Club, steps from the Whole Foods, and while waiting for the tour to start you can enjoy the coffee! (which is, by the way, great)
