I used to live in Hawaii. I've been to every island there. My favorite place to be is at the Westin Moana-Surfrider under the banyan tree at the bar drinking a mai tai. I take an occasional dip in the water there at Waikiki.

What beach experience in the Caribbean can compare to the Moana-Surfrider or the Royal Hawaii beach/bar experience? I'm not looking for a young, crazy or nasty bar scene; but just the scene I have asked for.

Please, only those who have been to the Moana-Surfrider or Royal Hawaiian need to respond.
