My fam is going to stay at the Grand Wailea. What is there to do around that area? We are thinking that we won't need to rent a car.

Are there any waterfalls on that side of the island? That's what I really want to see. Thanks!

Hello-The Grand Wailea is the best hotel I have ever stayed at. It is truly incredible. I would rent a car and a convertible is worth every penny. There is so much of the island to see. The road to Hana in your own car is excellent. You can swim in waterfalls and take your time enjoying Maui.
Also the bike ride down Mt.Haleakala is worth it. They take you to the top in a bike tour bus and you ride down with no effort. The view on top is incredible.
Also a snorkeling adventure is great. I am working on getting married there in Feburary. Not sure the Grand Wailea is in our budject. Did you get a good deal? We got to go 6 years ago on a work bonus.. I would love to stay in that hotel. It is incredible. Have a great vacation!!
