10. Convertible Ford Mustangs
Nothing says I just arrived in Hawaii on vacation like a Haole in a new Mustang. 09. Aloha Shirts Unless it’s Aloha Friday, people in Hawaii don’t wear these hideous fashion statements. 08. Poor Surfing Etiquette There’s nothing like being dropped in on by tourists who have no idea what they’re doing on a surfboard. 07. Sunburn If you haven’t been outside in a while, it shows. 06. Shoes Anything from sandals with socks to basketball shoes on the beach. Your foot fashions will tell all. 05. Pronouncing Hawaiian Words Completely Wrong Okay okay, Kamehameha doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue with ease for most people. 04. Riding a Segway Just don’t, for the sake of the kids. 03. Scooter Gangs A group of guys screaming as they buzz by on scooters with “Rent Me” stickers slapped on the side. Oh, you’ll see them. 02. Inflatable Tubes at the Beach Surfers will affectionately refer to you as a speed bump. 01. Hotel Towels and Straw Mats You might as well paint a target on your forehead.
