By far the place that had the best meal in Maui was Spat's Tratoria in the Hyatt hotel. The restaurant looks like it is pulled directly from old Italian Mob films, and the food is absolutely fabulous. We ended up going there twice on our 1 week visit to Maui. The pricing was moderate to expensive, and the wait staff is amazing. The one particular waiter that you HAVE TO ask for is Jeffrey. He is one of the best serves my family and I ever had. Funny, knolwedgable about the menu, and friendly he completes the restaurant.
