Yvette is ok..but she seems to be a little to controlling of the show, crew, and places they investigate...Richard Felix should have been the one in charge of the investigations since he was the one with all of the prior knowledge...It seems to me that they wait too long for something to happen in a certain place if just a knock is heard...watch, you'll see times go from 12:30am...then the next shot is 3:30am...and their still just sitting there...Yvette get a clue, if nothing is happening in that room...leave, and come back....there are other places in the locations they are at to be investigated more thoroughly.
to scary5306 Ghost Hunting is a process much like everything else in life. You have to wait for the fish to take the bait, the deer to come into range. Get it- GOOD. Things don't happen on command.
All right, here's what I see about Yvette. She presents a good set up with enough mystery in her voice to create an atmosphere of anticipation. That anticipation is what makes watching, "Most Haunted" so much fun. After a while you begin to trust her voice to guide you.
Then she acts as if there is no big deal almost as if they aren't taking the tour seriously. She depends on the psychic to give a reading of the site without intruding on that person's space.
I like the way she stands back to allow whatever to happen or not.
What I don't understand is how she can go into a verified haunted place as if its a walk in the park.
to cognitivefungus I agree, MOST paranormal phenomenon does not happen on command, but 2-3 hours in one area? Just for a knock? Like I said, if nothing happens for a while, go back and check it out again, with different people too....Done a few ghost hunts myself, seems to work pretty well. But to comment on the process thing....these are professionals....they should already know most of the "processes"....anyways, many times in the show they can just call out for something to happen and wham..a rock gets thrown, a knock occurs, Kat gets scared...ha ha ha.
