I ALSO AM A DEDICATED FAN TO MOST HAUNTED,BUT I THINK THE SHOW HAS GONE DOWNHILL.I NEVER SEE OR HEAR ANYTHING THAT WOULD EVEN AROUSE MY INTEREST.COME ON TEAM YOU DID SO MUCH BETTER BEFORE
You need to remember we are seeing re-runs right now and they are all the older shows that still have Derek in them, I am sure the new shows will be much better.

You know, you could say that all the shows are fake if you wanted to...Ghost Hunters (TAPS) are getting "knocking" and things "thrown" but you never get to "see" what they "see"....Unless you are there to experience it yourself and in person you will always be able to call a show "fake".
I still like to watch all of the shows, Most Haunted, A Haunting, Ghosts Hunters (TAPS) and GH International, Paranormal State, Medium, Ghost Whisperer, Ghostly Encounter and I am sure I am missing some of the shows I watch...If nothing else, take it for the entertainment value.
I just tuned in to the "fake M.H." videos that they show on YOUTUBE and they do NOT look fake to me. I agree that Dereck is a faker - Yvette says that with her own voice and I believe SHE believes that too. I was ALWAYS leary of Dereck from the beginning, and wonderred what Yvette and the others REALLY thought about him. This just gives me my answer to that. As far as Stuart admitting to throwing that stone, that just shows that he HAD thrown a stone, probably off camera to stir up some action, knowing Stu, but being that he admits to it on camera, and to Yvette and the crew shows that it was NOT an intentional act to make the scene seem moredexciting than it was. Just the fact that he is admitting something shows it was not intnded to be in the scene at all. I remember this show and remember feeling impressed that they showed us a piece of footage that could have been uses to show something as REAL, and being explained as a random act, not belonging in the show. They do this on other ocasions too, if it is the wind - they say it could be the wind. If it is a noise like rain, and it is raining outside - they tell you it could be the rain. If it could be a dust speck - they tell you it could be a dust speck . etc. The video did not prove at all that ANYTHING was FAKE. Other than Dereck of course, and they got rid of him.
I do not believe the show to be fake. However, sometimes I do feel the investigators do let their imaginations get the best of them. As for Stuart, if any of hem faked sthings, I would think it would be him. But I don't think he fakes, I think he over reacts and sometimes THINKS things happen to him. So when something does happen with Stuart, I just think, "Oh it's just Stuart. Next"
I have seen the YouTube videos, and most of them are labled in some way to make you think they are fake, but when you actually view the clip, I can't say that they are fake. The poster of those clips plants a thought in your head that they are fake, and when you watch them, they aren't.
One clip labeld as a Most haunted fake proof clip was an out take where Derek was speaking, and what he said was taken out of context in a suggestive way and crew was laughing. But it was titled as proof MH was a fake.
Don't you just hate it when someone tries to slant your thinking just by the power of suggestion? GIVE ME FACTS
How about EVIDENCE! We want EVIDENCE like Ghost Hunters (TAPS) does!
Look at the video TAPS has collected already. Footage from Eastern State, Saint Augustine, Kentucky Hotel, Bridgewater Armory, Hellshire caves.
MH is entertainment solely created to boost the excitement. They DO NOT even try to gather evidence. I'm sorry, but some guy saying "ohh I feel a presence!" proves anything. Meanwhile, on GH, they find out that feeling is probably coming from a High EMF reading due to exposed electrical wiring.
MH is not trying, and it's an embarrasment for the field.
I'm not going to claim to have seen every single episode of MH; nor to be either a believer or non-believer. However, after checking out the "Most Haunted Fake"s on Youtube, the only video I saw that was blatantly fake was the one in which Derek recites "Mary Loves Dick." However, if this was in fact not simply a joke; and, if it was something that aired, I wonder in what episode it did air, as I've either never seen it or simply cannot recall it.
