Travel Channel

Is it me or does anyone else think that we wont see series 10 because of the travel channels horrible times for the show think of it this way...
1. There is not any more episodes until september wich means 5 months
2. No new episodes means no new lives, lives are what gives the show its ratings
3. Most Haunted mooved to 11:00 at night and is already suffering from the decrease in ratings
4. Travel Channel made a mistake from taking the biggest pay cut of the century when ending the contract with discovery and getting taken off our basic 100 channels.
5. Most Haunted is only shown once a week and at only one time.
6. Travel Channel refuses to advertise most haunted even on their own channel BUT WILL advertize paranormal state and ghost hunters.
7. Most Haunted is travel channels #1 show and is the show that helps it stay from getting their whole channel canceled.

Travel Channel we are not being rude we are defending the show that it seems you are trying to ruin. These mistakes will end the show. If any one who agress with me could comment on the post and tell me or even just simply say i agree it would be highly apreciated.

I am sorry for your disappointment in the new time, but I assure you that Most Haunted is not leaving the network. We are shifting it's timeslot in lieu of more seasonal fare. We could've easily have removed it altogether if there was any chance of it leaving the network.
Please keep checking the message boards for Most Haunted news which hopefully will be announced within the next couple of weeks...

What is the reason for the time change? Is it because of the ratings? Why isn't there any advertisements for Most Haunted? I for one think the show is awsome! It would be a shame if the show was cancelled. Most Haunted is my favorit show to watch on fridays. I even record it if I'm going to miss an episode. I just hope this time change doesn't cause the show to stop airing on the discovery channel.

For now, the only program I watch-or did watch-on the Travel Channel is Most Haunted. However, now I can't watch it because of the new time! Unless the time for the program is changed, I will not be watching Travel Channel.

And now antoher ghost hunters spin off is coming to travel channel. Ghost Adventures, I am usualy the one who is excited about everything but now since the new time im not watching most haunted or travel channel anymore.
however this will mean more advertizement for the channel wich is good but 5 months without most haunted is going to cut the ratings. If you disagree with me then thats ok its just an opinion but will see.

I already had a hard time staying up from 10 p.m to 11 p.m. to watch - Now I don't know if I will be able to keep watching it with it not coming on until 11 pm and I never record anything to watch later. Sooooo if I can't stay awake then I guess I will no longer be watching it.

To the reply of the answer guy....please do not assume we the fans of the Most Haunted are taken aback by your remarks that you would've removed the show. We still have the right to be upset about the time change and about you not airing the new series.

The Travel Channel must be under the influence of bad new management or shoddy marketing numbers. I watch little TV and greatly enjoy Most Haunted. It is stunning it's on so late in the first place and now moved further? For some idiotic teenage spring break shows? Please...someone there get a clue.

I was upset when Most Haunted was taken off the Saturday morning schedule, and now I am more upset that it is on at 11 p.m. Not only do we have to wait months for new episodes, it is increasingly at more and more undesirable time slots. Travel Channel, this is a big mistake.

The new series is showing on living tv but I can't find any one who carries it. Does anyone know where to get it?

I was also disapointed when I saw that MH was replaced with summer getaways and spring breakers, but I thought these shows were going to be temporary for a month and then MH would be back. But each Friday night I look for MH or any other ghost show on the network, I find other shows. I really miss seeing the show on Fridays, it is not the same without "Ghost Fridays".
Now that I know that MH is on late at night, I would probably watch it even though the shows are reruns.
As far as the LivingTV - I think that is a network only in Britain.

However, MH can be seen on youtube.

I don't think that they will be leaving, or at least I hope not. I watch the show every single friday when it's on. When I am not able to watch I set my VCR to record and watch it later on. I really enjoy this show. I hope this will not happen because it would be the Travel Channel's lose!

I am very disappointed that MH has moved to a later time, and the travel channel has now shown reruns from MH, and also a garbage show in its spot. It must be poor management as far as I am concerned.
I hope they come back asap.

what i dont understand is why they have to have reruns anyway. most haunted is a year or two ahead of what we see. i know they could get plenty of shows we have not seen yet. is it just because travel channel is too cheap to pay for the other shows, or just to dumb and think we will just keep watching reruns. i have my dvr set to only record new shows so i wont be watching the travel channel until they have new most haunted shows. i really dont care about someone eating bugs and sick things. or going some place that i would really never even want to be just because they have strange habits

Today I signed up as a Member of Travel Channel just so I can comment about Most Haunted. I don't watch the program at the 11:00 slot and, unfortunately, I can't record it. Now there's some RV show that's on in the 10:00 timeslot!!! I can't believe that there are move viewers for that program than MH. Even if they were reruns, I'd watch MH. The only other TC programs I watch are sometimes World Poker Tour and, occasionally, Cash & Treasures. Most Haunted also used to play on Saturday morning but no longer and I'd watch it then also. So by moving MH to a later time, they, in effect, lost a viewer for their channel.

Basically, what you have done is put the show at a later time where less people will watch it. So then MH will get lower ratings because less people are watching. And then what?!? Cancel MH because some TC exec who doesn't watch it thought it was a good idea to put it on at 11:00? Listen to your viewers! Many people on this TC forum tune in to your channel only to watch Most Haunted. You have alienated many of them because you put MH on at a later time, and you will lose most of the others as viewers if you eventually cancel the show because of the probable lower ratings that you've created yourself by moving it. You're only hearing from the small percentage of disatisifed viewers who've made their way to this forum to complain. There are sure to be many out there who won't complain and will just stop watching TC, MH and the commercials that finance your company.

I completly agree with you all on this subject but I dont think they are hearing there faithful viewers,what is going on with the travel channel lately?They better wake up or soon no one will watch there channel.

Could we know if The Travel Channel have intentions of relocating Most Haunted to 10;00,when the new season in September begins?
11:00 is too late,most people work for a living.

I think the best thing that could happen to Most Haunted is if it could get "removed" from the Travel Channel....then maybe someone in that company would have half a brain and start up their own paranormal channel in its stead...You could easily fill the whole time slot every day/week with great shows, Most Haunted, ghost hunters, scariest places, Xfiles, etc.....Did anyone else read Travel Channels "Answer Guy"s response at the top,...pretty rude...Wanna lose fans??? Play re-runs, shift times, be cheap, and most of all be rude!

I too am dismayed that Most Haunted is moving to such a late time slot. Thank goodness my Media Center PC will record it no matter what time it is on. I thought it was odd when it didnt start recording faitfully like it always did at 8PM PST on Fridays but now you have some Susan Brown marathon. Sorry but Most Haunted is the ONLY reason I watch the Travel Channel.
