This post is especially for all the people that have nothing but complained about the members and crew of the Most Haunted show and the show itself. Over and over the same complaints were posted, running, screaming,swearing,calling them fools,unproffesional, etc... but now you all don't have to worry about seeing or hearing any of that, now do you? You dont have to change the channel anymore because your annoyed with their screaming and running and unprofessionalism.

Some of you quoted saying that you were fans that wanted to see change come to the show, and that it was not complaints but your constructive views or opinions of the show hopeing the producers would change it.

In my view your complaints helped make the decision of Travel Channel to stop carrying Most Haunted.

So my question to you is this:
What are you going to do now? Are you going to target another show on the Travel channel and help another show off the air with all your helpful negative constructive opinions??

is there any way we can make certain, and if it is true, can we contact the travel channel in hopes to bring it back? or is it too late.
how can we be sure it has been dropped?
i for one am thoroughly disgusted that they would cancel the show without asking viewers their opinion.
if u get time, let me know how u found out about the cancellation.
the waiting and wondering is keeping me upset.

Hi Guys. It's Karl and Yvette here. We wanted to say a huge thank you for all of you loyal support for Most Haunted. We are just as mystified as you all are regarding Most Haunted Live. We loved coming over to your wonderful country an investigating the plethora of haunted locations you have.

As far as we know, the Travel Channel has bought series 13 although we have now completed series 14. They have no intention, as far as we are aware, to do any more Lives. We wanted all you guys to know that this desicion is not ours as we would love to carry on with shooting in over there.

We are now looking at other US broadcasters to carry out live investigations and will keep you informed.

Again thanks for all of your support we love you all.

Several people have tried to contact Travel Channel to get the facts and leave messages but have been unsuccessful in getting a reply back. Even Karl and Yvette seem to be suprised what the Travel Channel is doing. Its even suprising that the forum moderator to this Travel Channel does not know what is going on.

If Travel Channel is not carrying the MHL then its just a matter of time for MH on Friday night. Travel Channel seems to be changing their T.V. format, now they are showing old movies on their channel just like every other channel.

I agree with you whole heartedly on this midnight rider.

All the negative posting of the show can affect executive decision making on what shows to purchase or not. It seems that there has been a turn around in postings to the positive side of fans wanting Most Haunted back. Hopefully it's not too late to voice our positive opinion of the Most Haunted show and try to get it aired on Travel Channel. If not.... then hopefully a more astute channel will air it in the US.

Usually, if I don't like a show, I simply don't watch it. I certainly don't bother to find a discussion board, usually full of fans, to make sure everyone knows how much I don't like the show...mmm

You crack me up! I can not stop laughing. I haven't had a good laugh in a while.

I was kind of thinking that maybe it was cheaper for Travel Channel to put Ghost Adventures Live on instead of buying MHL, or maybe Travel Channeel was trying to pull in the younger viewer watching Zach and his team.

Whatever the reasoning was behind the change, hopefully the viewers have let This network know how much we miss MHL and want it back. Till they do give us back MHL, I will watch Zach and his team try and catch any phenomena with the spirit world. Give them a chance, they are following a tough act as they say in showbiz. Who knows, maybe the ghosts will like Zach and give us some great ghostly evidence to watch.

Im not trying to bash any of the shows, but I watched Ghost Adventures Live. And I fell asleep after about 3 hours. Did it seem like MHL was kind of better? Im sorry but the live zach and his team did just seemed very blan to me.

And midnight rider, we have no proof that Karl Beattie actualy said that. It could be someone pretending to be him. Anyone could say that even I could!

I cant prove anything about the posting from Karl Beattie whether it was him or not but in a post that evidently was deleted the senior moderator mod_ben stated that if he thought it was bogus, he would of not posted it. I questioned mod_ben if it was real and how he could tell, but the entire post was deleted. So why dont you mention it to him and let us all know what you find out.

Also want to mention that several of Karl Beattie's postings are still up on the forum under "Pettition to get back MHL". If they are fake than I think the moderator would have deleted them by now.

I scratched my head over the Karl post, myself. It was believeable, but yet not believeable. If Karl and Yvette are the producers of the show, why didn't they know what was going on with it on the Tarvel Channel? TV networks just don't go to the library and borrow an episode week to week...it's all done by contracts. They will buy blocks at a time. Like 13 episodes, or a season.

But, maybe it was a true post.

I am pretty sure that Karl mentions that Travel Channel bought series 13 but they have already finished series 14. It was the MHL show that Travel channel will no longer show. He said about the Most Haunted Live, that he and Yvette weren't sure why Travel Channel is not carrying MHL. Its hard to know for sure if this post is for real, but when I questioned the forum moderator, the post from me and another member was deleted.
Maybe Travel Channel just dropped their MHL show without giveing Karl any explanation. If it was not from Karl then I think mod_ben would have deleted it.

The part about series 14 is where the post seems fake. Most Haunted just finished filming season 13. And it would not fit their regular format from the last couple of years to immediatly start filming series 14. This is the first time I have ever heard of a series 14. And if this was true, im sure Karl would have mentioned it other places by now which he hasn't. another part where they slip is that TC bought series 13 but didnt know when to show it. When a series is bought a contract must be signed on when it will be shown. Its just common sense.

She was on the Paul O grady show and said they just started series 14. The date of her apperance on this show was May 21st, 2009. So that means Karl and Yvette had 5 months to make a series 14. Which sounds right to me.
Karl said travel Channel bought series 13, but he never said he didn't know when they were going to show it. The viewers didn't know when Travel Channel was going to show it. The more I think about it, I believe it truely is Karl Beattie! Here are the websites to back up what I am saying is true.

series 13 is finished and series 14 was started around May 21st, 2009. Karl didn't mention it but Yvette did on Paul O Grady show. That means there was 5 months for Karl and Yvette to finish series 14 if that was Karl posting saying it is completed.

Yeah, it makes much more sense for a channel that specifies travel to show a series from Europe that features locations in travel as opposed to rehashed locations in the US that other Paranormal investigators have toured.

Travel, don't try to compete with SyFy with Ghost Adventures. GA isn't half the show that Ghost Hunters is and "cute guys" won't compete either. Most Haunted is your Paranormal, "fun" link to the European travel contingent.

Stick with what you do and the viewers will come.

Hoping they will bring Most Haunted back. This is one of the few paranormal shows that show real respect for the dead.

Ghost Adventures has to be the rudest show on TV. They have no respect for the departed.
