The Travel Channel is very excited to announce the following new Most Haunted projects coming up over the next 6 months:

1) As previously announced, Most Haunted will return to it's regular timeslot of Fridays at 10pm EST beginning Friday, July 11.

2) We will be bringing you premieres of Most Haunted season 10 starting on Friday, August 8 at 10pm EST.

3) We will be bringing you anouther 7 hour Most Haunted Live event, this time covering Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. This event will be on Friday, October 10 starting at 8pm EST.

4) Finally, we will be doing a season of Most Haunted in haunted locations around the USA. This season is currently slated to premiere in December.

I work in a haunted hotel in Gettysburg. There is a rumor going around town that MH is coming to scout out locations in July.

One important point I want to make MH aware of. The park service will try to tell you that you cannot film on the battlefield. This is UNTRUE. It is open to the public (ALL the public) from April 1 thru November 30 during the hours of 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. They tried, earlier this year, to keep a paranormal group from visiting the battlefield. The park was quickly put in its place and the paranormal group was able to visit the battlefield, during the hours posted, with no interference.

This town has paranormal groups visiting it on a daily basis. As much as the park service would like to keep these visitors off park property, they cannot. Don't let them try to tell you otherwise. And, do come visit. This is a special place and there is a lot of activity here. I know. I have witnessed it so many times on the battlefield itself I have lost count, and nightly at the hotel where I work.

REALLY glad to hear that Travel Channel listens to their viewers....sorry if I was stern before, but I don't get to watch much tv, especially since there isn't much interesting out there to watch....I'm making plans with my fiance and our new baby (born last night @10:02pm) to be in attendance for the taping of the live show at Gettysburg!...Has Travel Channel ever thought of sponsoring a 3 night investigation instead of a long 7-8hour night, typically spirits must warm up to your presence before they will be more inclined to do something...besides, there are a few locations in the past that I think if the MH team could have stayed another evening, some major things could have been recorded, and henceforth GREAT RATINGS!

I had recommended Gettysburg in the Living TV forums and that they could do an entire weeks worth of live episodes.

I rarely watch anymore but this could be good.

I am so happy to hear that MH is coming to Gettysburg!

Just remember, the National Park Service CANNOT keep you off the battlefield! Just be sure to follow the rules and the posted visiting hours. Otherwise, you can film anywhere on the battlefield.

And, it is a good thing you are coming in October. There will be less tourists on the battlefield at night. Oh, they will be there as they are always there, but just not in the huge numbers as there are in the summer.

You will love the boys here. There are thousands of them and they are most friendly. They have given me over 100,000 photographs of themselves and over 2,000 EVPs. It is a special place.

Woo Hoo! Fantastic! I've been hoping for a long time that Most Haunted would investigate Gettysburg! If they don't catch EVPs and other phenomenon, they need new equipment! Looking forward to watching!

Good morning! This isn't a question directly related to the announcement, but ties in with the enthusiasm for the show. Why aren't all of the previous series available for purchase in the US as they are in the UK? Is it too costly to license because surely, there are those of us who would run and not walk to buy the series in its entirety on DVD? As it is I arrange for friends to purchase some of the DVD's when they are lucky enough to jump the pond for a visit. This however is a costly favor given the pound to dollar exchange. Do you know if the show will ever be realeased for sale in the US? Thank you.

I love the show Most Haunted and try to watch all episodes. But come on they are there to find evidence of ghosts yet when the hear a noise or something the screem like babies. Ghosts are DEAD and can't hurt you. I live the old psycic derrik I think the Scottish one he was sort of funny going into transes. Bring him back please!!!

most haunted is an interesting program.. the location...a wonderful opportunity to develop and confirm life after death etc.etc..As a believer I am NOT impressed...a loss of opportunity to confirm something important to all humanity.. life after death. I ached through all the screaming, all the hair changes...nothing concrete. Go to Ghost Hunters and get something you can sink you teeth ....

I was just curious if they were going to rotate mediums like they have done in the past or are they going to have just one? I love David Wells He is just "bang on" in his walk arounds and would hate to see him leave the show.
