Pacific Beach in San Diego is a fun beach community full of shops, resturaunts, and of course, the beach. The sand is medium-coarse, but not dusty. Waves range from 1-3',water temp is 60's in the winter to low 70's in the summer. The cement boardwalk runs the length of the beach for more than a mile and is frequented by walkers, joggers, and bikers.

Recent regulations ban alchohol as well as smoking on the beach at all times. Leashed dogs are alloed on the boardwalk until 9am.
