We just returned from a week's stay at the Grand Mayan in Acapulco. This is the best place we have ever stayed. We're trying to remember a place where we have stayed that had all the activities, the beach, restaurants, all the pools, beautiful grounds, a great Fitness Center and SPA, 2 great Fiestas, lovely areas for relaxing, church services, and clean comfortable rooms overlooking the pools, beach, kids outdoor recreation area and Ocean. There is also a Sports bar and indoor game room. We can't think of a single place where we have enjoyed ourselves so much. The best meal we had was in the Italian Restaurant. The Traditional Nachos at the pool restaurant are good. Food at the other restaurants was not that tasty, just kind of "Bla". Great presentations though. We hired a driver and did the City Tour. We enjoyed this very much. There is a Super Walmart 50 pesos away. There is also a free Shuttle to the
Sun Market associated with the resort where you can charge everything to your room. This was very convenient.

If you are looking for a great place to spend a few days, I would definitely choose Grand Mayan Acapulco .

I'd say this a great place for the WHOLE family.
