My brother and I were watching the Halloween episode tonight and our stomach were growling. Right when we saw the bugs, we knew we had to try some bugs. We thought of an easy thing to get in Iowa, and we decided on crickets and grasshoppers. Here is the delima though: we don't know any great cricket recipes. I am wondering if anyone has any good recipes for cooking/frying crickets.

CHOCOLATE COVERED HOPPERS



take a bunch of cricketts and grasshoppers and put them in a large bucket like for ice cream or somthing without breathing holes then drop in a coupple cotton balls soaked in rubbing alchol then prepare chocolate as if you were going to coat strawberries in it by this time they should be dead then dip them in chocolate wait untill it hardens then enjoy. ps most people say grasshoppers are better
