This is one of the Western Shoshone and Paiute peoples traditional Foods of the Great Basin area. Ground hog is Singed of its hair and Roasted under ground. This is also prepared with Home made baked pan bread or Indian bread we like to call it. In this season of fall we also have Choke Cherrie pudding and Roasted Pinuts or pinuns some like to call it.
