I have a wife and two kids and we have been going to amusement parks since the were 5,and 6 years old. Now they are 15, and 17. Without question Disneyworld is by far the best family resort out there. We try to go at least once a year and we will be there Christmas this year for the second time. It is only to be seen, you cant describe it.We have been all across the lower united states and Disney is above all.

No doubt Amusement parks are great fun for families and Disney does know how to do it up right. I guess the problem I have with Disneyworld is that for the cost of a trip to Epcot, chance are your family could be enjoying the real deal in places like France, Italy or Mexico. I know taking our teens to Europe really changed their perspective on the world.
Yes, theme parks are fun but they are for amusement. If at all possible, take your teens to a foreign country before they head off to college. You'll be glad you did!

Thailand is the land of golden temples, tropical beaches and forested hills. For sightseeing and travel, Thailand has few equals. From dazzling temples and palaces to awe-inspiring World Heritage Sites; from timeless rural settlements to vibrant towns; from idyllic beaches to national parks where wild nature rules.

The various activities in thailand such as Spa, Thai Food&Cooking, Adventure, Shopping, Diving, Golf etc.

Disneyworld is great but I agree, it's an amusement park. It's fun for kids but my problem is that amusement parks are all playing music in the same way. What I really like is diversity so that everyone can really enjoy throughout the day (having fun, sightseeing, good eateries, friendly people, etc.). As winmurph said, give kids an opportunity to see the world and experience different cultures. Can this be fun? Of course it can be, but it is much more diverse and not so concentrated as family fun parks. There are so many hidden places around the world worth dozens of visitssee for example: http://www.maribor-slovenia-travel-guide.com

Best wishes,
Dominika
