I felt very sorry for the Laos man who had his arm and leg blown off from munitions that the US had dropped there. I believe that the man should be brought to the US and fitted with a prostetic arm and leg so he can be productive again. The US did it, let them pay for it.

I hope someone in the crew spots this: here's a way for Tony and NR to really freak out people who don't know him well. HELP those who he has visited.

How?

I know there were some injured Vietnam vets who at one time were helping disable veterans from both the South and North Vietnamese armies (now one, so to speak.)

Perhaps a donation to a foundation that would help set up a program for...get this...a JOB PRODUCING system of locals -- ideally disabled themselves -- who help manufacture LOCALLY limbs for amputees. Win/win here.

It builds limbs for those who need them...and manufactured locally (hopefully by the disabled) which helps them. The limbs don't necessarily have to be of a very hi-tech nature (anything's better than only crutches.)

Now, Tony -- that would really be an act of contrition that would be more than a verbal 'donation' to an episode.

I might have some contacts if you're serious (howard.hodges@us.army.mil)

Love your show!
Recomened it to ALL, but.
You have the right to be political, watched the Laos, show. You didn't mention all the Us Military who revered the"mong" and did all they could to help them, include dying. There IS a difference between the US Government and those who serve.
I wish you would make that distinction more often.

did not see until recently, trying to get a hold of my U.S. rep to see what our country has done to try and repair this, look what we did for Japan and Germany after WWII, Laos deserves better if we have done nothing to help
