Hi all! I just wanted to extend a great big thanks for the Korea episode. I was adopted from South Korea when I was 3 months old (I'm 22 now). I love learning everything that I can about my birthplace, but can't ever get enough.

I know the chances are very very slim, but if you happen to sift through these boards, Nari, I'd love to learn everything you can tell me about South Korea!

Well, if you really want to learn more about Korea -- my parents lived there longer than most foreigners (30 yrs) -- go there and teach English! Or contact the Korean embassy and ask for stuff.

I don't recall which Korean episode I saw -- Tony's or that other foodie -- but they left out one Korean food that the Koreans don't even like to talk about: DOG MEAT.

When the Olympics were there, I heard all the dog soup places were moved from the main thoroughfare. After the Olympics, they were moved back.
