Completely agree with you. Bourdain brings little value to the show concept. Infact I think he detracts from the format.

I just had the Chile episode on in the background and heard 'beeps' where his expletives were being censored - you could see how uncomortable his quests were - the owners of the oceanside inn.

Travel Channel can do better - don't confuse an emmy with good work. People also have difficulty turning away from a car accident.
