Wow it looks like Tony will be a busy boy the rest of this month and next month.
I had no idea he was going to be at the social club on the 26th of Nov in Mpls. Thats ok I will be at Solera on the 27th. BTW the Solera event is sold out glad I got my reservations in for that one I did not want to have a no reservation (sorry for the pun). Tony I can't wait to meet you and read your new book, I have been waiting for that book to come out for awhile now. |

You're welcome - but I have one minor correction:
This is the correct website for the AIWF Benefit 11/17 at E&O Trading Co. Tickets go on sale this Thursday 10/18: www.greenapplebooks.com |

Are the dates for DC & CA correct or a typo? November 7th is a Wednesday, not a Sunday. Also, November 11th is a Sunday not a Friday.

The DATES are correct; those 2 days of the week are in error - my bad! Such are the difficulties of typing while you're trying to read three screens at once (!) Apologies . . .

cgreco1,
Do you know if his new book will be on sale at the appearances? |

Based on prior experience, Tony always has books available to purchase and get signed at his gigs. Most of the time, if I recall correctly, you can even charge your purchase, even at non-book store venues (well, at least in NYC. We "swipe" damn near everything, these days). Since the game plan here is for Tony to sell books, I'm betting they'll be plenty there for sale, even if he is standing in the middle of a field of baby field greens . . .

Hey Tony,
Please please add Atlanta to your itinerary. You can even bring Ruhlman for translation and protection. |

You know, Doodad, that would only be fair, since Ruhlman is doing a joint gig with Tony in NYC on 12/3, and Tony will obviously be protecting the genteel Ruhlman from the residents of what Michael calls "Helltown" (!) "Quid pro quo, Clarice - quid pro quo."

What about Cleveland ? I'm hoping for something a little closer to home so I won't have to make the trek to Pittsburgh. Do I hear a Cleveland out ther ? Hello Cleveland !

As tmj54 has stated in the above post she would like everyone here to see the menu for Nov. 27th at Solera when Mr. Bourdain comes to Minnesota.
So here it is. Grilled pork belly and morcilla white beans and romesco, Olive oil poached salmon with fennel, lemon and olives, Fresh portuguese goat's milk cheese in mojo verde, Chorizo and hot green peppers with sidra, Shrimp and tetilla croquetas, Oxtail terrine with preserved lemon frita mixta and horseradish, Quillo peppers stuffed with herbed goat's milk cheese, and last but not least, Octopus ceviche with hot pepper and cumin. BTW this is a Spainish tapas menu and it will have Spainish wines to go with the menu. I'am counting the days. tmj54 my heart and prayers go to you and your family and friends, while those horrible wild fires rage in So-Cal. Also to all of the rest of the posters who live in So-Cal my heart and prayers go to you and all of your families and friends. |

Amen to that, June Baby. 1 million evacuated from the San Diego area, with an evacuation zone twice the size of all of NYC. Ruhlman reports that chef Gavin Kaysen and his family are pinned down (but safe), although some of Kaysen's producers' farms, etc., have been destroyed. What a terrible, terrible tragedy.
