Tony,

First of all, I was an avid watcher of your show until I watched you visit Chicago, and visit Burt's Place, in Morton Grove, Illinois...NOT Chicago. Morton Grove is about 15 minutes north of Chicago, in what we city dwellers refer to as "the suburbs" ever heard of them? I am thoroughly disappointed in some of your other choices...Tom Tom Tamales? Calumet Fisheries?? Where and what are these places?? You portrayed our city as a chubby, fried, fast-food, and trashy place when there are so many fabulous, delicious, diverse, and fun places to visit in the city....Whoever is picking your places needs to stop, and if it's you, well tsk tsk Tony...you had me before but you've lost me now.

Give me a chance to show you the REAL Chicago, and you'll not only have a insanely fun time, you'll be wed fell too!

He went to L2o and motto or did you forget that. Burt's place has really good Pizza, and I thought it was about time some other pizza place got some attention other than uno or lou's. Calumet fisheries has the best smoked fish on the south side. Tom Tom tamales are a chicago original. A tamale with chili and chese is a Chicago Thing. There are hundreds of places to eat that are crazy good. But I am sure Tony would have enjoyed his stay here on Argyle street eating vietnamese food, just as much as if he went to the signature room Gibson's or the Chop House

Get a grip. This episode was not just about Chicago, but the midwest. Coming the from the midwest, we have to face the fact that we are a little chubby and maybe a little trashy. That is what makes us great! I don't want to see a show featuring all fine dining- pinkies in the air-snobbery. If world reknown chef Eric Ripert enjoyed his meal in the windy city, that is good enough for me!
