I just wanted to say I love watching No Reservation! It's a great show, so when I saw previews that Anthony went to Laos I was excited. I am Laotian and felt great that he was finally going to Laos. I saw the show and was happy and grateful he was showing the county I came from....but why was he only focusing on the past? I understand our history is important and everyone should now what happened in Laos, but it is also important to show what is happening in the present. I don't think he justified what a great place Laos was. I wish he ate more food. That's what his show is all about. Laos has great wonderful food and he didn't eat any. I just felt like I was watching the history channel instead of the travel channel. I think Anthony should go back and show the positive side of Laos. I still love No Reservation .

Loved Laos, but I think some of the history is important, esp. for the young-er Americans watching the show. You have to remember, Saola, that NR is not completely a food show. It's a mix. I thought he did your country proud. I'm no expert as I only spent 4 days, and then only in Laungprebang. Still...loved your country. I'm thinking of helping a village build a library. hkhodges13@aol.com (contact me)
