As a former chef/cook I've always enjoyed your show. With sarcasm that could only have been tempered by years of abuse in the kitchen; it was obvious to me that you came out of the kitchen. I left the kitchen when it came time for a family (for reasons that any chef knows) about seven years ago. It was great to see what happens to a pro that steps back into the weeds. No longer driving the bus but at the whims of a wheelman that may or may not speak your language, or at least uses a dialect that seems foreign to the echoes of your smooth running memories. What a treat. Thanks for the show; "into the fire" is my favorite show thus far.
As far as some analogy to Bobby whoever by an ignorant fan: we can assume that guy orders his filet "well done" (need I say more?). Probably washes it down with KJ chard to boot. Thanks again for sticking it to Rachael R. Anybody who leaves thirty cents on a ten dollar tab should be taste testing french fries using a new olestra blend :O. Cheers- Josh Jackson |
