I don't know if it is because I do not own a widescreen HDTV, but every ten seconds it seems there is another popup thing, Come Join Tony's Face Book, Search this out on Bing.Com, or what ever else is going to show up on the Travel Channel. Any chance this is going away anytime soon?

Whats up with those 'MADVENTURES' cut ins during a repeat show? Is this the best way Travel Channel could think of promoting another show? All it's doing is infuriating those watching No Reservations, and will have the opposite intended effect by driving away more viewers. STOP IT!

I find it extremely distracting to have ads and promotions popping up while I'm trying to enjoy your programs. It's almost the equivalent of someone coming into the room, standing in front of my TV and talking at the top of their lungs, without consideration to what's being shown at the time. And I can't get that segment back. It's that disconcerting.

You have enough opportunities to advertise/promote through your commercials and your website. Don't turn TC into yet another station with nonstop crawls etc. all over the screen. You're better than that.
