Hi.
I've read the italian version of Kitchen Confidential (i'm from Italy), and at the end of the book there is a few of rules to follow in order to become a chef. Among these rules i can read: "Learn spanish!" And the reason: "...Most of the employees in this industry are hispanophone, etc. etc." Well, i think that this is true in the U.S., but is it valid for the rest of the world too? And french? French is (or was) the language of the western gastronomic world, and nowadays? What's happening? Saludos ;-). |
