I respect kgbarb's opinion but I like the combination of travel and food on the Travel Channel. If anyone is guilty of food overkill it would be Andrew Zimmerman but I still watch him because each show is unique. I think youre ratings wouldnt be so high if everyone felt like kgbarb. I say dont change a thing except finding new places to go!

I don't see it as "overkill" but rather a focus. Every travel show focuses on something: history, museaums, castles, archetecture, cruises, customs, celebrations, etc. As chefs, Tony & Andrew focus on the food aspect of their travels.
