I hope one day you will come to visit Indonesia and explore Indonesian Cuisine.

In Jakarta you can explore "Masakan Padang" such as the Crisp Fried Lung which quite common food in Indonesia street.

and other Jakarta famous food such as:

- Sop Kambing (Goat Soup)-- only could be found in Jakarta.
There is area in Jakarta sell this food. Most of the seller always used name "sop kambing pak XXX kumis" (goat soup by Mr. XXX Moustache).
The ingredient will be scarry for western people from goat meat, goat brain, goat kidney until goat ball (or we called goat torpedos).

Great you has taste Nasi Uduk, but you should tried the best Nasi Uduk in Jakarta -- called Nasi Uduk Kebon Kacang.

You also should tried other good in Jakarta. Such as:

- Menado Food
They serve a very spicy and hot food. A lot of chilli that could burn your brain. A good restaurant such Beautika not serve pork, but actually the original Menado food serve pork, dog and bat meat. Their famous food called Rica-rica.
Its a meat (any meat cooked with chilly). You should look for people from Menado to guide you. I am not from Menado but I am familiar with the food.

- Batak food
Their famous for roast pork & pork cooked with blood (saksang). They also serve a dog meat.

You should also visit Bali and explore the special "Babi Guling" (Balinese Suckling Pig,Snail Soup,SEMUR LIDAH
(Ox Tongue In Sweet Nutmeg Sauce) and the Arak or Brem Bali is the most popular traditional drinks and also often used for religous ceremonies and parties

Visit middle Java & Jogjakarta you will find a lot variety food such as :
- Lumpia (semarang)-- actually chicken roll
- Soto Kudus (semarang)
- Wedang Ronde (semarang)
- Nasi Liwet (semarang)
- Nasi Pecel (semarang)-- they also serve snail
- Nasi Gudeg (jogja)

Visit East Java you will find those food cooked with shrimp paste (black paste called "PETIS")
- Tahu Gunting
- Lontong Balap
- Kupang Lontong
- Soto Surabaya

Visit Sumatra you will find
- Pempek (Palembang)Made my special fish and flour with very strong gravy.
- Patin Pindang -- the best called Pindang Musi Rawas... you need to tried it, they serve with rice with sambal durian and mangga. No Indonesian area serve these cuisine.
