Twenty-five years ago my wife and I were married and we said that on our 25th annversary we would travel cross country. We both had to close our business and this (not a good thing) allowed us to complete our promise. As I turned 50 years old we started with putting our toes in the Atlantic Ocean in Newport,R.I. and drove for 9 dayss until we put our toes in the Pacific Ocean in San Diego. We had a wonderful time and we met all kinds of people. If you ever get a chance to drive cross country I highly recommend it. We took a lot of pictures and met many different types of people.
