Here's one for Andrew. The Inuituse a certain small bird that they catch in fine nets. The birds are killed by pressing on their breasts until they have a heart attack. (No cuts.) After removing the feathers the birds are packed into a whole sealskin and then buried.

It is left for months, until the birds inside rot, liquefy and become like cheese. The body is then dug up, opened and the "cheese" is eaten.
