While living in a small village in Germany for three years, we were able to experience may local cuisines. The most absurd dinner was call "Saukopfessen" or "Sweinkopfessen" which is a local custom on boiling and eating the flesh of the pig's head, including the snout and ears. I have pictures of a recent 'dinner' but do not know how to get them to you. This would be a great visit as the Saukopfessen also comes with great beer, great German accordian musicand singing, and great company. Let me know how to send the pictures of this year's feast!
