Andrew you are a braveman but in my opinion Vietnam even though have the best tasting food in the world also have some of the most bizarre foods in other peoples eye. For example, we have things like balut but call it something else. I enjoy balut alot, also there is fermented shrimp paste and fermented whole fish sauce. These thing reeks while you eat but it is so good. All thing internal is also being enjoyed.

they have that in the philippines too, just so you know. the shrimp paste is akin to our "bagoong" and the fish sauce we call "patis". but wouldn't you agree, they just make food so much more yummy!

Andrew should go to Viet Nam. Besides the stuffs in Philippines, Viet Nam has many Bizarre foods...rats, salted rotten fish(Mắm cá), salted rotten crab (Mắ ba khía), snakes,lizards,and..very sensitive/forbidden food in the US (dogs & cats), and who know many more from the locals.
