I would rather watch reruns of Taste of America whilst eating month-old duck embryos than watch another episode of this fetid tedium. I was in the Philippines 3 years ago with a video camera. Maybe I should send The Travel Channel my home movies? Clearly, they’ll take anything. You’d never guess by watching this show that one hundred and twenty eight years have passed since Thomas Edison enlightened us with an eye-catching discovery.

Bizarre Foods is a mongrel. It’s like No Reservations meets Dirty Jobs but without the humor, civility, aesthetic or value. When television is so torturous that you find yourself writhing to turn the channel but you can’t because you need to validate the horror, it’s time to rethink your entertainment priorities.
