I saw an episode where Andrew ate a Belute in P.I.I was there in 1980 and the Belute was,then, not prepared quite the same.This is the way it went.Take a fertilized or fetis duck egg,pack a thick layer of mud around it,let stand in direct sunlight for seven days.When served the mud was removed from the upper third of the egg.The shell was gently cracked and removed.The contents was then stirred with a straw.The foul concocion was then drank and/or chewed.Yes I would believe you if you told me that that tradition was outlawed on planet Earth and every other civilized planet.It didn't look good so I didn't eat it!
