In korea, I went went a restaurant, i forgot where or th name of the restaurant, but the dishes they serve there had live octopus. It was very difficult to eat, because the suction from the legs would get stuck in my mouth. Perhaps Andrew Zimmer could show his experience by trying this bizarre food.

I went to Tokyo, where they served me cow tounge. I didn't like it, because it was to chewy like a rubber band. I asked for something else like sushi. They gave me a living breathing octopus with blow fish tidbits between. I threw it back in the ocean behind the resturant. I figured it out they wanted me to kill it and I couldn't do it. But the Blowfish was really sweet.

You gotta be careful with those things. There have been many accounts where people (especially tourists) have died from the suction cups sticking to your throat and choking them.

TripAtlas.com has a great article and VIDEO of this "live octopus" - also known as San-nak-ji.
