Travel Channel

If you are a climber or a hiker, this trip is good. My boyfriend and I just returned from our journey. The other people around are friendly. There are many campsites in the park. They fill up fast on weekends though, and you cannot make reservations.

It is in the desert and very interesting to see all the joshua trees throughout the park. Camping was not bad. For this time of year (mid Feb), it was at high 65-70 and at low 30-35 at night. The coyotes are kinda like dogs, so do not let them scare you. We only saw one from a distance, but I think we had them visit our campsite a couple of nights. . .they are just like begging dogs.

If you like national parks, then joshua tree is one to experience.
