Metal detecting ski slopes can lead to some great finds so they tell me

Hey Dragon,
I never would have thought of ski slopes, but the logic sounds good. Also around the lodge may be good. People stumbling around, getting into or out of their gear, maybe with a warming drink or two in them.
These sites are private property, of course. How easy is it to get permission to search in the off-season months?
