Kristen i have a great idea for a show
i have stated this before but i just cant bring myself to stop thinking about this whitetail deer shed antler hunting in iowa every year deer along with moose , mule deer , elk , & other antlered critters shed or "drop" their antlers it is a natural process & does not hurt the animal in any way the antlers stay in original condition on the forrest floor for only a short while as they are chewed up by squirls , chipmunks , & other calcium craving critters a shed with no chew marks is a sought after item & a trophy sized shed can go for big $ to serious collectors shed hunting is becomming as popular if not more so than actual deer hunting i think this factor would apeal to the general audience as again no animals are harmed during shed hunting we run an auction in iowa every march & we sell shed antlers that people find & bring to the auction people that consign shed antlers to our auction range from a big variety of age groups so it can be a family oriented thing to date our record high price for a matched set of whitetail sheds is $19,000 yes nineteen thousand dollars thanks for your time Steve Morehead www.circlemauctions.com 563 652 9780 |
